On October 27 and 28, 2023 (Friday and Saturday), the festival of Slovak wines WINE SNOW 2023 will take place in Donovaly. We will welcome the public with wines from more than thirty Slovak winemakers, but also with products from producers of noble spirits, delicacies, local cheeses and chocolate, who will present their wines and products in four establishments: Hotel Galileo****, Residence Hotel & Club* ***, Sport Hotel Donovaly*** and Apres Fun Stodola.The Moravian family winery Výmola from Mikulčice also accepted the invitation from the festival organizers. The official program of the event will include a tasty menu in the listed establishments, as well as live music. Tasting samples will traditionally be sold for coupons in wine passports. The value of the wine passport is 20 Eur, while each wine passport contains 20 coupons (value of 1 coupon = 1 Eur). Guests purchase wine passports directly in the establishments involved in the organization of the festival.
Wines from winemakers who personally participate in the festival will once again compete for the title of the best wine of the hill and also for medal trophies at the WINE SNOW 2023 competition. The expert evaluation of the wines entered into the competition will take place a week before the opening of the festival, on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the Hotel Galileo. The deadline for applications, together with the delivery of samples of the registered wines, is Sunday, October 15, 2023.
