Did you know that women currently make up the largest group of wine consumers in Germany? A study conducted by the University of Geisenheim showed that women drink more wine than men in terms of volume. In addition, more women than men prefer wine in their choice: up to 62% of the women surveyed enjoy drinking wine, while this percentage is only 52% for men. Women also spend more on wine than men, on average €185/year compared to men who spend €175 on wine annually.
The international jury of women - oenologists, sommeliers and wine experts in Mainz once again singled out the Slovak rosé wine CARMENET 2025 from among 750 anonymously tasted and evaluated samples. The semi-dry blend of Merlot and Franconia received a SILVER MEDAL in the official evaluation. The success in the global competition sincerely pleases us and draws attention to the question: how are we, women and men, in Slovakia, doing with wine consumption? How much € do you spend on purchasing wine for personal consumption per year?
